Mobile Apps for Government: Engaging Citizens in a New Way
Studies report that one in three American citizens who access a federal government’s website did so using a mobile phone or tablet. These studies and others like it show a growing opportunity for the federal government to provide fast access to information and services through the use of mobile applications as well as through mobile websites. Mobile applications and the amount of smartphone users continue to grow worldwide. But, even with these studies and statistics government apps are found far and few in-between.
